If you are shooting this in a lever action rifle, the Hornady 45gr HP/BEE and the Speer 46gr Flat Nose are the only bullets that will function safely!

For Winchester Model 43 rifles the Beger 35gr Varmint, Hornady 35gr V-Max, Nosler 35gr Varmageddon, Sierra 40gr Varminter and the Barnes 30gr Varmint Grenade are your best choices.

The Nosler 40gr Ballistic Tip, Hornady 40gr V-Max, Berger 40gr Varmint and Barnes 36gr Varmint Grenade are loaded to a longer overall length and best suited for the Cooper Model 38, or rifles that are not limited because of magazine length.

The Berger Match Varmint is a rapidly expanding, high-trauma bullet that produces match grade accuracy! The traditional hollow-point design is highly effective on varmints, a great choice in any rifle!

The Hornady V-Max is an excellent choice where ultra-fast expansion is needed. These are high-trauma bullets that upset upon impact and offer devastating results on varmints. Highly regarded for their accuracy and reliable performance.

Nosler Partition – The original Nosler hunting bullet, the Partition, always produces exceptional terminal performance in the hunting fields. It’s traditional lead-tip ensures consistent expansion and upset. If you’ve used the Partition, you understand why it is still considered a premium hunting bullet.
